An introductory course to the principles and applications of radiation therapy as applied to the treatment and management of cancer patients. The interaction between basic science and clinical science in the advancement of our understanding of cancer and planning the appropriate treatment will be discussed. There will be a brief review of the basic physics involved with equipment, biological behavior of the various cancers, evaluations of end result and the integration of multimodality treatment.
