Introduction to the use of computers in business. Emphasizes spreadsheet and database applications, using microcomputer hardware and software. Also includes word processing and presentation software, Internet use, the basic structure and organization of a computer, ethical issues in computing, and the impact of computers on society. Every semester. Prerequisites: Math ACT score of 24 or above or MATH 1006 with a minimum grade of C or department head approval. This course is designed for Business Administration majors.
