Description:
Introduces students to the various concepts and procedures involved in fitness testing and programming. Students will learn how to screen individuals to determine the appropriateness and safety of test administration, and how to properly administer, interpret and develop exercise programs based on a variety of fitness tests and the individual’s fitness goals. Prerequisites: HHP 3140, HHP 3170 with minimum grades of C or department head approval. Pre- or corequisite: HHP 4280.
