Microcontroller systems architecture, advanced real-time signal interfacing techniques, I/O programming concepts, real-time realization of digital signal processing and filtering techniques. Projects included. Prerequisites: CPSC or CPEN 3700, 3710 and ENEE 3720L, 3720 with minimum grades of C or department head approval. May be registered as CPSC 4720. Credit not allowed in both CPEN 4720 and CPSC 4720. Supplementary course fee assessed.
