Advanced theories of bonding and structure in inorganic chemistry with emphasis on ligand field theory, bioinorganic chemistry, and organometallic chemistry. Spring semester. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 3 hours. Prerequisites: CHEM 3310, CHEM 3710 with minimum grades of C; MATH 2200; PHYS 1040/PHYS 1040L or PHYS 2310/PHYS 2310L or department head approval. Laboratory/Studio course fee will be assessed.
