This course focuses on the nursing care of childbearing women and their families through all stages of pregnancy and childbirth, as well as care of the newborn. Emphasis is on the process of labor, birth, and recovery, teaching about pregnancy, and parenting skills. Women’s health issues are also discussed. This course may require some basic computer skills and CE6. The instructor may demonstrate CE6 in class.
