This class is a combination of classroom instruction with a guided tour of European art museums and galleries plus architectural sites. The students will be accompanied by the instructor on this tour, and seminars will be conducted in Europe. While the course is not a detailed survey of historical styles, it will provide the student with an introductory experience to the richness and diversity of European visual arts.
