This course is designed to teach students how to conduct in depth archaeological, archival, and historical research. Research will focus on the history of the city of Birmingham, and specifically the Titusville neighborhood. Activities will expose students to the cultural development of one the city's earliest African-American settlements and provide hand-on scientific research experience.
