POL 327 - Japanese Political System FDR: SS2 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: POL 105, 227, or permission of the instructor. An examination of the origin, structure, operation, and evolution of Japanese political institutions. Students discuss the importance of Japan’s international position and historical experience to contemporary politics and address the development of the modern Japanese electoral system, political party system, and policy-making processes.
