This course gives students a general knowledge of the evolution of French literature and ideas over the centuries through the study of a single genre, its styles and techniques. Recent offerings include: L’Essai de Montaigne à Camus; Ecriture feminine/Ecriture féministe? L’amour dans la poésie lyrique; Le conte et la nouvelle.
