Topic for Spring 2011: DANC 390: Special Topics: Aerial Dance (4). Prerequisites: Instructor’s consent. This course examines a unique array of concepts and techniques from across the fine, performing and media arts in the creation of an interdisciplinary aerial dance performance. Students work with a diverse array of experimental approaches that integrate music, video, film, painting, photography or any other art form specific to their desires and relate it to a given theme (this year, the theme of honor and integrity) in collaboration with aerial dance.
