Fundamental concepts, regulations and skills of a nursing assistant are introduced in this course. The course is designed to include topics that prepare the student to meet the physiological and psychological needs of all individuals who are in need of health care. Students are expected to have completed supervised clinical training in health care facilities. Successful completion of Nurse Aide is required to be eligible to take the state Certified Nurse Assistant exam.
