Interaction of the atmosphere with other earth systems, chemical cycling, and the effect of humans on the atmosphere will be explored. The physical and chemical properties and interactions of the atmosphere will be investigated through laboratory investigations, fieldwork, and computer modeling. Topics will include urban air quality, global climate change, and the “management” of the atmosphere. Includes laboratory and/or fieldwork.
