Description:
A laboratory course in print art taught in sequence which focuses on a specific technique each term. From a drawing-based foundation the thought process involved in making prints is strongly explored, translating drawn images into a graphic language. Concepts and content are investigated appropriate to the technique taught. Individual and group discussions as well as portfolio reviews are an intricate part of the review process. Art 271 explores etching or relief. Open to non-majors with instructor's consent.
