A workshop and seminar based course addressing the design and construction of large-scale structural systems. Investigates the innovative use of traditional and non-traditional building materials and structural detailing, exploring the potential of visually expressive structural systems through a series of working models. Architectural precedent and nature’s engineering will be studied to gain insight into the correlation of form and structure.
