This course will examine the legal and ethical issues arising from certain charges brought in the post-World War II Nuremberg trials conducted by the International Military Tribunal (IMT). The IMT was established by the Allies at the London Conference of 1945 and from 1945 to 1949 the IMT and its successor, the Nuremberg Military Tribunals (NMT) conducted twelve trials involving prominent members of the political, military and economic leadership of Germany.
