Description: This combination laboratory and lecture course consists of a study of the structure and function of the human body. Online laboratory experiences and exercises are designed to correspond with and complement the lecture material. The course will begin with a general introduction to anatomy and physiology, and then move on to cells, metabolism, tissues, basic chemistry, mitosis, osmosis, diffusion, the anatomy and physiology of the skeletal system, the integumentary system, the muscular system, and the nervous system.
