Prerequisite: ENGL 1010, 1020; Description: English Masterpieces II is a survey of major and minor works from the Romantic, Victorian, and Contemporary periods of British literature. Students will examine the fiction, poetry, drama, and nonfiction of these periods with respect to the literary forms and characteristics of each period, as well as to the societal, cultural, philosophical, and historical forces that influenced their development.
