Description: Students must be accepted into the graduate study of the Clinical Laboratory Science track. Students will be involved in the advanced study of bacterial agents that cause human disease. The processing and handling of clinical specimens with emphasis on state of the art isolation and identification of pathogenic bacteria is included. Theory and practice in clinical serology as used in the diagnosis of infectious disease is also emphasized.
