Topics include the formation of stars and planets, stellar habitable zones, properties of life, origin and evolution of life on Earth, the search for life elsewhere in the Universe, mass extinctions, extremophiles, space missions, SETI, Drake equation. Designed for non-science, liberal arts majors.
