Prerequisite: GEOG 1010, MATH 1010 or higher (cross listed with GEOG 3040) The impact of a rapidly growing human population on availability of natural resources and pollution of the environment. Minerals and energy resources, soil, water, air, forests, and wildlife habitats will be considered. Reducing consumption and using alternative sources will be considered as options to increasing resource production.
