Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in READ 100 or satisfactory test score; minimum grade of C in MATH 101 or satisfactory test score, concurrent enrollment allowed. An introduction to calculations necessary for the preparation of pharmaceutical doses is presented in this course. Accuracy of calculation is stressed to assure that the patient receives the correct dose. This course prepares students for second semester laboratory calculation course work.
