Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in BIOL 110, HEED 107, HEED 131 and HEED 132 or permission of appropriate instructional Dean; minimum of NREMT-B certification and/or State of MI EMT-B licensure required. This course provides scenario based learning situations for the student to enhance their theoretical and clinical skills. Topics of discussion will include management of emergent conditions such as asthma, hypoglycemia, burns, trauma, and other conditions. Time will be spent on improving assessment and treatment skills.
