Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in NURS 165 and previous or concurrent enrollment in NURS 178. This course concentrates on common, well-defined nursing diagnoses through application of the nursing process and integration of scientific concepts. Emphasis is placed on the care of the surgical client. Focus on the students clinical skills and their ability to apply scientific rationale in the clinical setting is emphasized.
