Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in READ 100 or satisfactory test score, concurrent enrollment allowed. This is one of three modularized courses. Modules A/B/C provide the student with an understanding of the basics of computing fundamentals, key applications, and living online. Module B-Key Applications, specifically targets the following areas: Common Program Functions, Word Processing Functions, Spreadsheet Functions, Communicating with Presentation Software. Upon successful completion of Modules A/B/C the student will have satisfied the computer competency requirement of Southwestern Michigan College. Modules A/B/C include certification.
