Prerequisite: Minimum of 12 SMC credits completed; high school graduate; full time SMC student; cumulative GPA of 3.0; minimum of 18 years of age. This course emphasizes comparative social, cultural, economic, environmental, historical and political systems worldwide. Comparative studies in music, literatuer, religion and education are also offered. Through these studies students will gain a greater understanding of complex international issues and develop skills necessary to discuss and present their opinions and conclusions.
