Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in READ 100 and MATH 100P or satisfactory test scores. Surveys the solid earth environment. Investigates earth representations, earth structure, rock types, plate tectonics, volcanic and tectonic processes, agents of weathering, erosion, and deposition (water, ice, wind, gravity) and resulting surface features and landforms.
