Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in READ 100 or satisfactory test score, concurrent enrollment allowed. The Residential Data and Signal Distribution Technology course introduces the foundations needed to understand residential cabling, residential audio and video systems, residential security systems and home automation systems. The course provides students with a working knowledge of the high voltage and low voltage cabling systems found in modern homes.
