Prerequisite: None. Salsa, a Latin American dance, started in New York somewhere between the 1940's and the 1970's. The dance steps currently being danced on salsa music originate from the Cuban son, but has influences from many other Cuban dances. Students will learn the basic steps and special moves for Salsa.
