Prerequisite: None. This course provides the State required training for a student seeking a Michigan Residential Builders and Maintenance and Alterations Contractors License. This course meets the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth's required hours of prelicensure training for an individual seeking to sit for the State Exam. This course will provide students with training in the following areas: Business Management, Estimating and Job Costing, Design and Building Science, Contracts, Liabilities and Risk Management, Marketing and Sales, Project Management and Scheduling, Michigan Residential Building Code, Construction Safety Standards (MIOSHA) and energy efficient GREEN building practices.
