Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in CONS 110, concurrent enrollment allowed; and READ 100 or satisfactory test score, concurrent enrollment allowed. This course will introduce students to framing methods utilized in the construction of a residential building. Students will learn to build different flooring systems, cut rafters, layout a stairway and build headers. Students will develop functional understanding of live and dead loads.
