This course is designed to provide a laboratory-based science for students who have not met the lab science requirements for state college admissions standards. The primary objective is to provide knowledge of the basic concepts and principles of biology: the cell, diversity, energy transformations, complimentarily of organisms and their ecosystems, control and regulation, evolution, form and function. Laboratory activities will demonstrate the process and procedure of the scientific method.
