This course is designed for accountants seeking professional improvement in communication skills using formats from actual accounting practice. It covers all the stages of the writing process: planning (including analysis of audience and purpose), critical thinking, accounting research, generating and organizaing ideas, writing a draft, revising the draft, and designing a document for effective presentation. Prerequisites: ACCT 2213, ACCT 2223, and ENGL 1113 or instructor approval.
