It offers an overview of the most salient moments in modern Latin American cultural history, placing emphasis on the ways in which specific literary works relate to the social and political developments that have shaped the region since the late 19th century. Readings by Dario, Marti, Huidobro, Borges, Rulfo, and Vargas Llosa, among others.
