Extend students’ understanding of basic economic principles to consumer, physician, insurer, and health provider behavior. Current policy topics are analyzed from an economic perspective using published research. Students are required to write a research paper focused on analyzing a health care topic with the application of economic concepts. Prereq: PUAD 7004/5004 or equivalent economics course.
