Description:
Further explores the theory of managing and leading small military units at the squad platoon levels. Students examine leadership styles and techniques related to advanced small unit tactics. Familiarizes students cartography, land navigation, field craft and weapons systems. Involves multiple, evaluated leadership opportunities in field settings and hands-on experience with actual military equipment. Students are given maximum leadership opportunities in weekly labs. Note: lab fee, 3 hour lecture, 2 hour lab, 3 hours of PT per week and 80 hours of field training. Prereq: permission of professor of Military Science.
