Description:
Introduces fundamentals of leadership and the U.S. Army. Examines Army organization, customs and history as well as its current relevance and purpose. Students also investigate basic leadership and management skills necessary to be successful in both military and civilian settings. Includes fundamentals of Army leadership doctrine, team-building concepts, cartography, marksmanship and basic military tactics. Note: lab fee, 3 hour lecture, 2 hour lab, 3 hours of PT per week and 80 hours of field training.
