This course introduces students to the nature and role of business in our society. Career opportunities in business are also considered. This course is designed to assist first year students transition to life on campus. The course content is integrated with various activities designed to familiarize 1st year students with school resources, develop critical thinking and writing skills and build relationships critical to ongoing academic success. Students are advised to take this course during the first semester of their freshman year. Note: Credit will not be given for both MGMT 1111 and MGMT 1000. Prereq: Open only to new Freshman.
