Rigorous yet flexible fieldwork-based experience exploring geographical and environmental phenomena in diverse world locations. Course begins with intensive regional and methodological introductions, followed by on location field investigations in environmental analyses, cultural studies, GIS applications, tourism evaluation and/or hazards assessment. Prereq: GEOG 1202 and GEOG 1302, or permission of instructor. Cross-listed with ENVS 5995, GEOG 4995, and GEOG 5995.
