Designed to introduce a broad range of computational problems in molecular biology. Solution techniques draw from several branches of mathematics: combinatorics, probability, optimization, and dynamical systems. No prior knowledge of biology is critical, but it would be at least helpful to have the equivalent of BIOL 5099. Prereq: CSCI 2421.
