Lecture, laboratory, and required field trips. This course provides a general overview of the biology of mammals, including their diversity, distribution, economic importance, and other characteristics that make them of special interest to humans. Coverage will be worldwide, with special emphasis placed on the mammals of Colorado. Prereq: One year of general biology with grades of ā€˜C’ (2.0) or higher and completion of the structure/ function core requirement with a grade of ā€˜C’ (2.0) or higher. Cross-listed with BIOL 4640.
