Human biological variation and adaptation, considered from an evolutionary perspective. How we measure and classify human variation often affects the conclusions we draw. This course considers the causes and maintenance of human variability and adaptability, including cultural and social factors in the genesis and maintenance of normal and abnormal traits. Prereq: Background in physical or biological anthropology and graduate standing. Cross-listed with ANTH 4520.
