These courses are designed to provide graduate students an opportunity to apply content from both the professional foundation and the direct practice curricula. The purpose is to prepare students with advanced analytical and practice skills for work in agencies responsible for individuals, families, and small groups as autonomous direct service practitioners. Students are provided the opportunity to apply direct practice skills in an agency setting under the supervision of an experienced social work practitioner for a minimum of two days a week, eight hours a day for not less 240 clock hours each semester.
