This initial practice course is designed to provide all beginning level MSW students with a common frame-of-reference for viewing the practice of social work. It applies core principles of practice across different size client systems of individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities. This sequence, therefore, provides a basic generalist foundation for both the direct practice concentration and administrative practice concentration.
