This is the first of two foundation courses which involves the study of human behavior throughout the life cycle. This course will include study of the human as a system from conception through adolescence. It will examine the impact of biological, psychological and societal factors as they influence the individual in the social environment, utilizing ecological systems and psychosocial theoretical conceptual frameworks.
