The course provides an overview and assessment of key U.S. and international environmental policy issues such as air and water pollution, waste management, environmental justice, gender and environment, energy, and population growth. Emphasis is placed on analyzing domestic and international case studies involving environmental justice issues. Prerequisites: BIOL 206.
