This course surveys the influences of African and indigenous people of the Americans on the arts of Native Americans, Mexican Americans, and African Americans. Emphasis will be placed on the arts, crafts, and architecture of these groups from prehistoric era to the present critical analysis of art works, research and writing skills will be emphasized.
