This course offers an overview of teaching strategies for mathematics and science. TCs will learn the components of teaching science and mathematics using inquiry methods, identifying and interpreting students prior concepts, grounding classroom activities in the context of study, developing a driving question (inquiry investigations), and creating a community of learners to practice the process skills in an investigation or mathematics problem.
