This course is an entry level statistics course for students majoring in the Social Sciences. Research is an integral part of the Social Sciences, and Statistics is the foundation of research. In this course students will learn how to apply statistical techniques to applications in the social sciences. Topics will include probability, distributions, estimation, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, and multiple regression.
