This course instructs the basic over-the-road driving skills necessary for the safe operation of Class A multi gear commercial vehicles. Students will drive under the instruction of an approved school instructor at least 10 hours on city, urban, and rural highways. The road driving instruction will include multiple terrain and weather conditions as available in preparation for the federally mandated CDL skills examination. This examination will be performed by a third party tester. Possession of a valid operator¿s license and a Class A learners permit is required for this course.
